The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP, Italy) in collaboration with the National Centre for Physics (NCP) Pakistan is jointly organizing the First ICTP-NCP International College on Plasma Physics to be held in Islamabad from 11 - 15 November, 2013. The college will cover pedagogical and research activities for the training and intellectual advancement of young researchers and students

Participation

Scientists and students from all countries, that are members of the United Nations, UNESCO or IAEA, may attend the activities. As a regional activity, priority will be given to graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty and research scientists from Asia. Participants from devel oped countries are also welcome to attend. All activities will be conducted in English.

As a rule, travel and subsistence expenses of the participants should be borne by their home institutes. The candidates should make every effort to secure support for travel (or at least half-fare). However, limited funds are available for participants (less than 45 years of age) from developing countries who are also working in a developing country. Such support is available for only those who will attend the entire activity.

There is no registration fee.
