15 - 19 October, 2018

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Switzerland, is the largest particle accelerator in the world. The particle detectors which are part of the LHC experiments play a key role to achieve the physics objectives. This workshop will cover the current R&D progress and performance of tracking detectors being used in high energy physics experiments.

Topics

  • Semiconductor Detectors: Physics and Principle
  • Tracker Detectors at LHC and their performance
  • CMS Phase-2 Tracker Upgrade Project by 2023
