Introduction

The Fifth “National Symposium on Laser Matter Interaction (LMI)” is being organized at the National Centre for Physics (NCP), from September 14-15, 2021. The main idea of holding the symposium is to provide a common platform to the national researchers working in the field of Atomic, Molecular, and Laser Physics to discuss and share the recent advancements and challenges. The symposium shall highlight the emerging technologies and prospects in the field of light-matter interactions.

Participation

Research students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty members, scientists, and engineers are encouraged to apply for this activity. Because of Covid-19, the 5th LMI will be organized virtually. All the speakers will deliver their talks through webinar and an access link will be sent to all the selected participants. The shortlisting of the candidates will be according to the relevance of their research area to the LMI symposium. There will be no registration fee for this event, and you will be able to attend it by staying at your homes/Institutions. The Ph.D. scholars are encouraged to apply for an Oral presentation.
