Introduction

The 8th “International Symposium on Light Matter Interaction (ILMI)” is being organized at the National Centre for Physics (NCP), from September 23-24, 2024. The main idea of holding the symposium is to provide a common platform to the national researchers working in the field of Atomic, Molecular and Laser Physics to discuss and share the recent advancements and challenges. The symposium shall highlight the emerging technologies and prospects in the field of light-matter interactions.

Participation

Research students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty members, scientists and engineers are encouraged to apply for this scientific activity. No TA/DA will be given to any participant. For the outstation participants, the accommodation at NCP will be provided and additional cost of Rs. 2000/- will be implicated. The Ph.D scholars are encouraged to apply for an Oral presentation. The International speakers may also deliver online talks. The online participation of international participants/speakers will be free of cost without any registration fee.

Registration Fee

Registration fee for students will be Rs. 2000/- and Rs. 4000/- for Faculty members/Professionals.
