Introduction

The 10th “International Symposium on Light Matter Interaction (ILMI)” is being organized at the National Centre for Physics (NCP), from September 22-23, 2026. The main idea of holding the symposium is to provide a common platform to the national researchers working in the field of Atomic and Laser Physics to discuss and share the recent advancements and challenges. The symposium shall highlight the emerging technologies and prospects in the field of light matter interactions.

Participation

Research students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty members, scientists and engineers are encouraged to apply for this scientific activity. The students submitting abstract for oral or poster presentation along with their application will be given preference during selection. Outstation participants will be provided with accommodation at NCP.

How to Apply

Online application form can be accessed here. The Application form should be submitted before 10 August, 2026.

Registration Fee

  • Local Students: Rs. 1000/- (Including meals)
  • Outstation students: Rs. 2000/- (Including accommodation & meals)
  • Faculty/Professionals : Rs. 3000/- (Accommodation (for outstations only) & meals)

Selected applicants will be required to pay the registration fee via online payment. There is no registration fee for the invited speakers and foreign participants.
*Travel support may be provided to selective students upon availability of funds.
