This workshop is intended to provide a broad understanding of the complete cycle of processes involved in Additive Manufacturing and the benefits of embracing this technology, through lectures and hands-on sessions.

Hands-on Session 01: 3D Scanning of a Test Part

Second Day (Wednesday, July 12, 2023 - 10AM to 3.30 PM)
Hands-on Session 02: Metrology of the Test Part, Reverse modeling from the Scanned Part
Lecture 4: Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM)
Hands-on session 03: DfAM of a Test Part

Third Day (Thursday, July 13, 2023 - 10AM to 3.30 PM)
Hands-on Session 04: 3D Printing of a Test Part (FDM)
Concluding Session: Interactive Session, Feedback Forms, Distribution of Certificates

• Undergraduate / Post-graduate Engineering or Sciences students / faculty; especially of mechanical engineering department.
• Fresh Engineering graduates who wish to get acquainted with latest technologies and trends in the global market pertaining to the field of Additive Manufacturing.
